THE NATIONAL DATA CENTER AND PERSONAL PRIVACY (Nov, 1967)

An eerily prescient article from The Atlantic in 1967 about the future of data privacy and security. It presents all of the basic arguments for strict controls on data collection of personal information, and it's remarkably accurate in its predictions of the future development and importance of computers as well as all of all of the ways the government would abuse them. Well worth reading.
